Can You Expand Your Contact Area?
Sometime small time commitments can increase the customers you contact
Are you maximizing the impact you can have on your customers? Can you offer additional services that would increase your impact to your customers?
As you know filling your sales funnel is really important to keep revenue flowing. It is also a great way to keep a diverse revenue stream. Your primary focus is to sell your product or service of course. That is what your time and effort will go toward. As you start to get your sales funnel full it is important to look at ways that you can expand your touch to your current customers and new customers.
What small time commitment can you make to your customers?
Can you invest a small amount of your revenue to enhance your customer experience?
What additional product or service can you offer your customers.
Outside of your current product offering how do you commit a little more time to your customers. Can you spend more time talking with your customers face to face? Can you build a community for your customers to engage with you and other customers? This needs to be something that is small time commitment for your, because this is not paying the bills, but a good way to diversify your revenue. It is not the main reason that your customers are coming to you, but it can be a good way to build loyal fans and returning customers.
Another area to look at is investment. Can you use some of your revenue to invest in a better platform for your customers to engage with you? Do you need a better purchasing process? Again this is not something that your customers will ask for, but it will make it much easier for them to engage with you. Something that will make them want to come back. The key is to make sure it is a small financial commitment, so you can try it and then adjust. Some experiences will work, and some will not, but you will learn something. That will help you adjust so the next investment will be an even better use of you dollars. So find some small investments and try them out this week.
As you build a strong customer base they will start to ask for more things. You do not need to meet every requests that comes in, but take some time to reflect on each request. So of those requests will be gold for you. They will be ways to fill your sale funnel for the future. It will be additional value that you provide to the customers and you will know there is demand, because they asked for it. This is also a great way to add more value to your customers. You are listening to them and you are adding more value than you had with your first offering. Make sure the new offerings are inline with the produce and service that you want to offer. You do not want to get stretched too thin chasing products you do not enjoy.
So Remember:
Find small time commitments you can make to you customers.
Make small financial investments in the business to try new processes and services.
Listen to your customers and give them more of what they are asking for.
Thank you for your time. I hope you found at least a small nugget of value from this post and if you do, please pass it on to a friend.
