What are you going to accomplish is 2024?
How will you grow in 2024?
New Commitments in a New Year.
A new year is a great time for new beginnings. It is a clean slate. It is a clear beginning. Although we are already a couple of weeks into the new year, it is not too late. There are goals and desires that you have for the new year. Now is the time to firm those up. Commit to yourself, to your employees, to you family. This post is really more of a reminder to make sure you have your goals and commitments for the year.
I also come with an idea for 2024. Write an e-mail to yourself. Outline 1-3 commitments that you are going to complete in 2024.
New customers you are going to prospect?
New products you are going to bring to market?
New services you are going to develop?
These are just a few ideas, but think through what you are going to do to make 2024 a successful year for your business. Outline those 1-3 items in an e-mail to yourself and then use the delayed send feature. Set a delivery date of 12/30/2024 or maybe 1/2/2025. Then hit send. Now when you get to the end of the year you will have a reminder of what you wanted to accomplish at the start of the year. Maybe you should send updated commitment e-mail every quarter. After all as the year goes along it will be important to update your progress and add new and different commitments as you win and learn throughout the year.
I know this is a shorter post, but I thought it would be a good reminder of ways to win in 2024 and make sure that you hold yourself accountable today and throughout the year. More to come as we go through the year together.
3 things to remember:
It is not too late to make commitments to yourself for 2024.
Set a reminder to send an update each quarter, or ever other month.
Take action today to start your year off right.
Action step for today: Set aside time to write an e-mail to yourself outlining the 1-3 big achievements you are going to complete in 2024. Use the delayed sent feature to send it 12/30/2024 or 1/2/2025, which ever is the better day for you.
